Melissa Earls

 

          Melissa Earls has been an educational administrator for nearly 20 years, serving in both the public and independent school sectors. For the past six years, Melissa has served as the Head of School at an independent PreK - 8 school for advanced and highly proficient learners. Melissa was recently appointed Dean of Academics at Wilbraham and Monson Academy, and as part of her new role, she will oversee all aspects of the Academy's curricular program. Melissa is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Superintendent of Schools.   During her extensive experience as an educational leader, Melissa has developed and used her expertise in college counseling to help many students during the college application and admissions process. She resides in Sturbridge, MA with her husband, Joe, and their two rescued pups. Their daughter, Emma, a 2020 graduate of Deerfield Academy and a member of the Class of 2024 at Hamilton College, joins them when she’s home for breaks between semesters.
